Issue Position

From the Western Slope to the Eastern Plains, Colorado's water is the life blood of our state. Water storage, conservation, hydroelectric, and protecting Colorado's water rights from downstream states should be our government's focus.

Protecting private property rights from government intrusion and seizure should be the goal of every elected official. Eminent domain laws should default to the private citizen, not the government's desire to grow itself at our expense.

As Governor of Colorado, I will work to store more and make better use of the public's water while protecting the individual's right to their private property.
